After practising as a painter and art psychotherapist for many years, Art Soul Mind
founder Liz Hall couldn't help but feel that something was missing. Whilst she applied her clinical and creative expertise to support many young people in crisis, her instincts as a community practitioner and mother led to her using art processes and works as tools for communication, development and well-being.
Beginning in her own home, she soon integrated this approach in the homes of family and friends - powerfully bridging the gap between art therapy and art, as well as providing resources and in-house support. Her work expresses an inspiring visual language imbued with faith, hope and love.
Note: While these paintings are in no way a form of psychotherapy or clinical intervention, they are created with therapeutic intent and informed by years of diverse experience as an art therapist. This background draws on multiple models of psychological and systemic therapy practice. Families should always refer to their GP or school services with any emotional or psychological concerns.
