Zambia Therapeutic Art
(ZTA) is a Scottish charity which aims to improve mental health outcomes for adults and children facing health challenges in Zambia. Since 2015, ZTA has worked closely with Zambian colleagues to deliver and embed therapeutic art in hospitals, training institutions and the local community.

ZTA supports local practitioners in Zambia so that they can in turn train other professionals. Liz has developed and delivered courses relating to working with children and is currently involved in a project which expands this reach to other clinical settings. Her experience with cross-cultural work continues to enrich her own art making and echoes of Zambia are present in her paintings.
